A continuous-time version of the Derrida-Retaux model

The Derrida–Retaux model is a simple model of renormalisation on a tree, introduced in statistical physics to study a phase transition in a polymer model. Multiple conjectures on this family of models remain open. We introduce a continuous-time version of this model, which happen to be exactly solvable. We will see some of the results that can be obtained in this solvable model, with a focus on the behavior at criticality of the process. This talk is based on a joint work with Yueyun Hu and Michel Pain.
